Coleman Pack Horse I Dimensions
400 lbs payload

The Coleman company has been known for making quality camping gear including tents, backpacks and even coolers, and at some point they got into the single wheel trailer market as well. The trailer was built in their Somerset Pa facility, and constructed of a fiberglass body and a steel frame. For storage, an arm can be lowered from the front when the trailer isn't in use. It weighs 155 pounds empty and is rated to haul 400 pounds and uses the standard 4.80 X 8 trailer tire. If you have any info on this trailer assembly, feel free to drop me a line and tell more.

Found this on Craigslist: One Wheel Trailer ( Coleman Pack Horse ) - A single wheel trailer. Put your camping gear in this trailer and pull it with any vehicle. You can even use like a wheelbarrow. 1-wheel trailer called a Packhorse. It can hook up to a 1 1/4 or 2 inch square Reese or Draw Tite hitch. Or bolt it to your bumper, plug in the lights (all set up and ready to go) hook up the safety chains (included) and drive off. There is also a stand that folds down when the trailer is unhooked to hold the unit fairly level for loading or unloading. When the stand is down, it locks the wheel in either a straight ahead or straight behind (it swivels you see) so you can move it about like you would a wheel barrow. This unit is in good condition.

Coleman 1993 1-Wheel Pack Horse Trailer. They also made 1-wheel trailers called a Packhorse. This is a fiberglass body, single wheel trailer with a top on the trailer. The top edge goes OVER the bottom edge which means it seals the water out. The volume of this unit is between 1-2 times the size of a regular auto trunk. That means you could put just about anything in it that would fit (except sand or dirt maybe) and not overload it. It hooks up to a 1 1/4 or 2 inch square Reese or Draw Tite hitch. The two brackets then wedge against the auto bumper (adjustable), plug in the lights (all set up and ready to go) hook up the safety chains (included) and drive off. There is also a stand that folds down when the trailer is unhooked to hold the unit fairly level for loading or unloading. When the stand is down, it locks the wheel in either a straight ahead or straight behind (it swivels you see) so you can move it about like you would a wheel barrow. This unit is in good condition and includes a spare tire/wheel. There is some duct tape residue on the trailer that can easily be removed.
The method of attaching is fairly unique. As you can see from the pictures, I have it hooked up to a standard receiver type hitch (included) that fits a standard 2 inch square Reese or Draw Tite hitch. It also fits a standard bumper hitch---simply remove the ball from whatever hitch you have and replace with the supplied bolt and nut. The two brackets then wedge against the auto bumper (adjustable), plug in the lights (all set up and ready to go) hook up the safety chains (included and drive off. If you forgot to load something, just back up and do it---no problem. There is also a stand that folds down when the trailer is unhooked to hold the unit fairly level for loading or unloading. When the stand is down, it locks the wheel in either a straight ahead or straight behind (it swivels you see) so you can move it about like you would a wheel barrow. This unit looks like it was bought last year and has been exceptionally well taken care of--I suspect it has been garaged for all this time
